today was my first official day of work at the new store. up till now i was working in other stores or working in my store, before we opened, just prepping stuff. anyway, all i have to say is FUCKING MADHOUSE! were right across from the center of town square where they have santas house set up so we got A LOT of families who would come in and order 3, 4, or 5 drinks all at once right after they just saw santa. it was insane. we had to call in reinforcements and it still wasnt enough. oh well though, it makes time fly like ridiculous. in 5 hours i made 27 dollars in tips which isnt amazing or anything compared to some tip jobs, but its still nice. ive never had a job where i get tips so its nice getting a little added bonus at the end of the day, especially a day like today. one thing that did suck though was me trying to hurry along and make some tea lattes. i poured the tea into the cup too fast, it splashed all over my hands and now theyre all blistered. cool right? haha. i just cant win!

but luckily i also work tomorrow 1-6pm so come say hi and hang out with me and Lindsay!
