so i kind of conquered a fear the other day:
so for my ENG 231 class one of our readings was this play Everyman from the 1495 or there abouts. (the exact date is unknown). since it was a play the teacher wanted to give people parts and have us do a dramatic reading in front of the class. i was assigned the part of Death because my deep voice haha. i thought i was going to vomit when i got up in front of everyone, not only did i have to read dramatically in front of everyone, but i had to read things like this:

"Lord, I will in the world go run over all,
And cruelly out-search both great and small.
Everyman will I beset that liveth beastly
Out of God's laws, dreadeth not folly.
He that loveth riches I will strike with my dart,
His sight to blind, and from heaven to depart
Except that Almsdeeds be his good friend
In hell for to dwell, world without end.
Lo, yonder I see everyman walking:
Full little he thinketh on my coming;
His mind is on fleshly lusts and treasure,
And his pain it shall cause him to endure
Before the Lord, Heaven-King.
Everyman, stand still! whither art though going
Thus gaily? Hast thou thy maker forgeet?"

thats just one little part of mine. the play was about 20 total pages and i had 2 full pages to myself basically.
but i decided to just go balls out and went for it. i was yelling and shaking my fist in the air. i got a few compliments that made me feel good and the teacher said "and thats coming from the guy who never speaks!" while glaring at me. shes a bitch and i absolutely love it!

oh and also theyre taking submissions for a student art exhibition at school and i think i may submit my key drawing. its not amazing or anything but i like it and think others may like it too.
