this semester ive been a complete slacker. my art 102 class i havent done anything worth even mentioning except till today when i did this:
i used this glossy paper, kind of like a magazine page, and a piece of silver to draw that (theres no erasing and the silver comes out very lightly so you have to layer and layer and layer to get it to a reasonable darkness level). im pretty proud of it. its obviously unfinished but i like how its turned out so far. i even got a compliment from the instructor, well compliment and semi-insult rolled into one, he basically said that nothing i had done this semester was any good except this and i must have taken a real liking to this technique. oh and he also said something super artsy-faggy-hilarious today, he said "drawings dont have to have all the answers, they can pose questions too". hes a cool guy but can sound way too artsy for his own good sometimes.
